The spark that changed everything

Jean-Philippe Desrochers, founder of Rocket Hockey, grew up with a deep passion for hockey. One evening during a street hockey game with a neighbor, a crazy idea struck: what if a blade could produce sparks with every shot?

This intuition became the starting point of an entrepreneurial adventure. In 2023, he founded Desrochers Hockey Inc. and launched Rocket Hockey 1.0 — the world's first street hockey blade to generate real sparks.

Bringing hockey back to the streets

Rocket Hockey was born from a simple observation: the streets have gone quiet, and too many kids stay glued to screens.

The mission is clear: bring back the magic of outdoor games, create moments that bring people together, and reignite the desire to move. Every Rocket Hockey product is designed for spectacle, durability, and fun — so that every pass and every shot becomes an unforgettable memory.

Driven by this mission, the company developed Rocket Hockey 2.0 — a stronger, more performant, more innovative blade — and the Rocket Hockey S2 shaft, designed to assemble precisely with the blade.

The surgical fit and reinforced bonding with specialized adhesive unify the shaft and blade to deliver a solid connection and remarkable durability.

The design allows players to keep their shaft and replace only the blade season after season: a smart, sustainable, and economical approach that builds customer loyalty.
